I know that losing a loved one is a difficult and emotional time, and you are probably feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment with lots of things on your mind.
As a Funeral Celebrant that specialises in bespoke ceremonies, I try to help ease some of this burden, I am here to help you create a fitting ceremony celebrating their life, without the restraints of a traditional funeral service. Their ceremony can include religious, non-religious and spiritual elements, readings, and music.
I will meet with you and your family to discuss sensitively the life your loved one led, creating together a fitting ceremony celebrating their life. I can help you choose meaningful readings, pieces of music and religious or non-religious elements to the ceremony.
After this I will go away and create a bespoke ceremony that is personalised to reflect your loved one’s interests and character and include any specific readings or music. I will also write a eulogy that captures the story and essence of the life of your loved one. Once this is complete, I will send you a copy of the eulogy for you to review and make any changes (if necessary) or additions you may wish to include.
Every ceremony I create is uniquely written and delivered by me to ensure the life your loved one has led is beautifully celebrated.
On the day of the funeral itself I will meet you outside the funeral venue beforehand and introduce myself to anybody that is taking part in the ceremony. I understand that saying a final goodbye to a loved one is an emotional and difficult time. So, be reassured, that if on the day, anyone that is due to read is unable to, I will step in to support them or deliver the reading in their place.
After the ceremony I will provide you with a beautiful written copy of the ceremony for you to keep.
